Middlewich Eastern Bypass Consultation
Cheshire East Council is seeking your views on our proposals for a Middlewich Eastern Bypass, which would pass to the east of Middlewich between Holmes Chapel Road (A54) at the Salt-Cellar Roundabout and Booth Lane. We would like to hear your views on these proposals before we submit a planning application.
Please submit your views by 11.59pm on Sunday 29 April 2018.
Three public exhibitions on this consultation will also be held at St Mary's Church Hall in Middlewich during March and April.
Supply of Household Recycling and Waste Bins Consultation
Cheshire East Council currently provides a range of wheeled bins, with a charge applied only to additional garden waste bins. The council has been experiencing a high level of bin supply requests and this level of demand is placing an unsustainable pressure on the budget and needs to be addressed. We are therefore proposing to implement a bin supply charge for this service.
This proposal forms part of the budget consultation which was agreed in principle by Council in February 2018 however all responses from this individual consultation, which provides greater detail on the proposal, will be analysed and considered before a final decision is made in July 2018.
Please submit your views by 5pm by Monday 21 May 2018.
Cheshire East Carer Respite Survey
Cheshire East Council currently offers a traditional carer respite service in the form of pre-bookable beds designed to meet the needs of older people; these are located in residential care homes across the Borough. We are aware however that these pre-bookable beds are often empty, even after reducing the number of beds available. We are therefore in the process of reviewing the current carer respite service and assessing how to offer the best good value and quality service that meets the needs of many.
The Council has considered all the information it has gathered so far and would like to use this survey to advise Carers of the types of services that we are proposing to meet their needs and the needs of the cared for person. We want to ensure that any changes we make to the Carer Respite service reflect your views. Therefore, your feedback is really important to us.
Please submit your response by 5pm on Monday 4 June 2018.
Countryside parks and rangers service
If you have recently attended one of the Ranger Service events or visited one of the sites we manage, we really want to hear from you. Please help us to improve our sites and events by completing our two surveys.
